“I, Mudd”
“I, Mudd” The crew is held hostage by a civilization of androids led by the only human, Harry Mudd. However, when they learn the androids want to take over the galaxy, the humanoids work together to disable them, using their best weapon, absence of logic. After they have found out that one of the androids, Norman, is the control center, they focus their efforts on confusing him, playing absurd theater until he is finally disabled. summary by Ex-Astris-Scientia
LOL! And this was supposed to be funny! Okay, I admit, Mudd is so hopeless he can be funny at times. And he had a few good lines, such as those referring to his real wife. But the whole concept of a planet full of his wife’s replicas… brrr! Where where the women’s rights these days?!
Besides, it was obvious, right from the start, that they’re androids. No mystery, no surprise here. More like a slapstick comedy than a real Star Trek for me. Thank you very much.
