“Journey to Babel” The Enterprise ferries delegates from several planets, including Spock’s parents, to a conference that is supposed to decide about Coridan’s admission to the Federation. Sarek, Spock’s father, suffers a heart attack just as an alien ship begins to attack the Enterprise. Kirk is stabbed by the assassin, and Spock must choose between donating for Sarek or assuming command of the Enterprise in the emergency. Mmmm… Sarek! One of my favourite characters in all STtar Trek. I hated the scene when Kirk is injured - so theatrical! Other than that, a great episode. And I loved Spock’s dilemma. As a matter of fact, I love all Spock’s dilemmas about his father. Their relationship never seizes to amaze me…
