“Shades of Grey” On an away mission on Surata IV Riker is infected with a parasite. Dr. Pulaski begins a treatment, but he falls into a coma. Deanna who senses Riker’s romantic dreams while the parasite is growing concludes that negative emotions might stop the growth. Ugh… One of the exceptions mentioned in the previous post, I guess. Many think it’s the worst TNG episode. I’m not sure I’d go that far but still… It was simply boring. Riker’s dreams were so predictable (I wonder why…). I was only curious while watching the sickbay at the beginning of the episode. A huge disappointment, especially after the previous one.
