“The Drumhead”
J’Dan, a Klingon exchange officer, is suspected to have caused an explosion in the Enterprise’s dilithium chamber. Admiral Norah Satie comes out of retirement to lead the investigation. While the Klingon was smuggling plans to the Romulans, he turns out to have nothing to do with the explosion. Even as it is found to be an accident, Satie keeps looking for possible traitors, especially the young crewman Tarses who is of partially Romulan origin, and finally even Picard who doesn’t want to take part in her witch-hunt. Admiral Henry finally relieves Satie of her post and ends the investigation. summary by Ex Astris Scientia
Excellent role by that woman. This is probably all I can say. Simply amazing. I’d watch her everywhere and everytime - she stole the show for me completely. For the first time, I wasn’t thrilled about Star Trek or any of its characters, I just couldn’t take my eyes away from her! Those who hate Star Trek should still watch this one! Contrary to what I wrote just a post before - I didn’t care for scenery either. This one episode could take place anywhere, anytime and with random actors. Hats off!
