Heh! With this episode it’s the same old story. It happened to me all the time when I was watching TOS. Remember? I was extremely late, wrong generation etc. Anyway, I absolutely loved the idea of mechanically controlled society. I didn’t mind Kirk talking a computer to death. What I didn’t like was the making of it. The visual side (I’m not much of a speciall effects fan either, don’t get me wrong).
I only wish they showed more of the people’s dependance on the computer. Their zombie-like behavior wasn’t very convincing. All in all, however, I liked the story. Kind of classic motive.
