“Turnabout Intruder” Dr. Janice Lester envies Kirk because he assumed a captain’s position, whereas she was refused. With the help of an ancient alien machine she transfers her consciousness into Kirk’s body and vice versa. While Kirk is unconscious in Lester’s body, she is in command of the ship. Awful! Disgusting! Kirk in woman’s body! A woman in his… bleeahh! I was almost glad it’s all over when I was watching it. The whole series, I mean. If they started having such ideas…
Of course, I missed it later. Despite all the vicous things I wrote about TOS, I really do appreciate the inspiration. Not only for the later Star Trek but for the whole culture. It’s good it exists. Let’s not forget it..
